MaxTrax Bess's Little Monkey

What can I say about Monkey except...she's such little Monkey!

This doe doesn't look like much, she was born a mere 3 pounds (triplet) from her powerhouse dam who I am told was extrodinary in the showring.  Monkey is small due to her start in life, and we have never shown her because of this.  Monkey gave us our first goat kids here on the ranch and her second born kid was Reserve Champion at the ADGA show we attended at the state Fair last year as a yearling milker!

Monkey's daughters both freshened with lovely udders, and Fiddle not only got the Reserve Champion last year but she also got the Best Udder of Breed at that same ADGA show. Monkey's daughter Fiddle consistantly took champions in the 4h shows we took her to both as a kid and yearling.

Production runs heavy in this line, and Monkey consistantly gave a gallon plus for usher first year.  She did not settle last year, and so she milked through and continued to milk well through the winter and was only dried off for breeding in 2009 to give her a rest.

This line will put milk in the pail, and there are some powerful genetics backing this girl up.  This little doe started out small and is still on the diminutive side, but Monkey has a big spirit and we love her.

We can't wait to see her kids with Guddy! Monkeys kids are due April 26, we will retain the first doe, and any additional doe kids will be available for $350.
