Autumn-Acres Viva Los Vegas

DOB:  03/05/2011

3rd gen American LaMancha

ADGA Pedigree

The idea to go and get Viva was partly from the huge success we had in breeding two of our home bred does out of an Autumn-Acres doe, and Forrest-Pride As Gud As It Gets.  We really liked the nice smooth look of the kids we got from this breeding.  Star and Sunshine are great examples of what we are striving to produce as far as general style.

So we decided to put a deposit on Viva and we are grateful to Tammy Tuller for helping us to bring this very pretty boy home to Missouri.  Viva's dam, Vegas is an impressive doe with tons of general appearance and style.  We love her long long look with smooth blending and beautiful feet and legs.  She was 2nd at the 2010 Nationals in a very large class of yearlings.

Vega's 2011 LA Score 02-06 VV+E 87  Vegas needed time to fill out this year, we are very pleased with her E mammary score!

We were very pleased with the size, shape and attachment of her udder when we met her last spring.  Vegas is maturing well and we can't wait to see more pictures of her!  This is such a smooth, blended doe with length and super tight shoulders/front end assembly.  From her high elegant head to her strong feet and pasterns this is an exemplary example of the LaMancha breed in our eyes.

We have long admired Venus for her extreme length, beautiful topline and levelness throughout.  We were excited to purchase Velcro, one of Venus's early kids from Tecoa Seibert.  The Venus line is exemplary in longevity, overall general appearance and production.  Velcro and Venus are both still standing on strong feet and legs at age 10 and 11!  That is definitely something we are excited to see in aged does.

Maddock's 2011 LA Score 02-05 VEV 89!

We also were thrilled to see Vegas bred to Maddock.  Not only is Maddock a beautiful buck, his dam is half sister to our original AA doe.  So although Mandy is gone, we have added more of that amazing personality, delicious milk and easy going nature back into the herd.  Maddock has put some beautiful udders on his daughters!

Maddock's Dam, Marmalade is a well balanced doe with lots of smooth blending.  Her udder is stunning and we were pleased to see her still standing on beautiful feet and pasterns at age 8!  We love a long lived, strong doe that continues to show well and produce into her aged years.  Marmalade was just beautiful, friendly and a doll to meet.  Marmalade's half sister Maple was the 2010 National Champion LaMancha and Best Udder!

Needless to say, we are very excited to see his kids this spring!  Viva has grown and matured into a very impressive coming on yearling buck!  He is tall, smooth and elegant!
