Elizabeth Jackson and Fiddle at the 2012 Missouri State Fair, so proud of them both!

WOW!  What a year!  Fiddle finished her champion status this year, and she was two times best doe in show in the 4H division over large numbers of other does.  We could not be happier with this saucy girl.  Elizabeth also got GCH Showmanship with Fiddle in her age class.  These two have worked very hard!

Fiddle and Elizabeth, Fiddle only has about 2 hours of milk here, she milks down very nicely.

Fiddle is a perfect example of a doe that is slow to mature, but worth the wait.  She has continued to grow and fill out and we are so pleased with her beautiful and correct conformation.  Her fore udder is sweeping, and her rear udder has a beautiful round arch.  She is a dream to milk, which is a good thing because you can always count on her to have a lot!

Fiddle and her Sis Semper winning Best Produce of Dam at the 2011 Missouri State Fair - We love udders like that!

Fiddle has been really fun from the start!  This was our very first goat born here on the ranch, and she's pretty special. This doe matured late and continues to really improve and blossom as she ages. She has yet to disappoint me, and we look forward to the shows next year with our Fiddle.

Another milked out photo, we love the overall style this doe has, but it's quite hard to capture on film.  Fiddle really shines on the move.  This line just moves very graceful and uphill as they travel.

We are not officially on test yet, but we weighed her milk out to about 9 pounds per day at peak as a yearling, 12 pounds as a 2 year old, and 14 pounds at three. Fiddle had a brush with death the fall of 2011 and only produced a single doe kid in spring of 2012.  We still got 10 pounds at peak, and I am very impressed with the levelness of her lactation this year, at this time she is still producing a solid 4.5 pounds a day being milked once per day at day 300.

Fiddle's most recent accomplishment is her beautiful 2012 daughter.  TTRR VV Over The Moon -  Res Ch X 1, CH X 1 and BJDIS X 1!

Elizabeth Jackson with Moon, winning Best Junior Doe in Show at the ADGA Opens at 2012 Missouri State Fair.  Elizabeth and moon placed over 157 other doelings for this win!  The back and rump on this kid is amazing.  She has retained all the great qualities of her dam, and also the strongest qualities of her sire.  We feel this is the best doe we have bred to date and she is a family favorite for her fun loving and personable spirit.

Fiddle was bred to Forrest-Pride Special Blend, she is due 04-22-2013.  As pretty as Fiddle is,  more length and height would be nice.  Blend travels so smooth and uphill as does Fiddle that these should be very pretty kids on the move.  All doe kids are retained or reserved.
